What should I NOT use to clean my CPAP equipment?
These products and methods may cause material degradation, cracks, or poor performance of your equipment, potentially leading to skin irritation or mask leaks.
Can I use an ozone device with my CPAP machine?
Not recommended - Ozone cleaners do not have FDA approval. Moreover, repeated use of such devices may cause internal damage to your CPAP machine, as they did to Philips Respironics CPAP devices, which according to many contributed to their recall.
Regular replacement avoids issues like mask leaks and filter inefficiency, helping you breathe easier and sleep better.
Example Replacement Schedule - Below is an example replacement schedule. Double check with your physician and/or durable medical equipment (DME) provider.
Insurance Note: Insurance coverage of replacement parts may vary based on your insurance plan and compliance with CPAP usage. Contact your provider for specific guidelines.
